How secure is my data when using your Google Sheets applications?
Google has a strict security and privacy policy. When you first install our application, you’ll be asked to allow access to the permissions that are required for the application and add-ons to work properly.
Our code runs exclusively on Google servers, so when you use our app, Google accesses your data using the permissions you have granted.
We don’t have any direct access to your data. We do not have access to view any of the information stored in your Sheets or Drive.
However, we do store your email address and activation codes for identification, verification, and backup purposes.
How about GDPR and HIPAA?
Speedster Solutions does not have access to any of your sensitive data. If you have concerns, you have to check whether Google is GDPR/HIPAA-compliant.
Our applications and codes are hosted on Google servers, and all of your data passes through and is stored on Google servers.
Payments and upgrades
Our Google Sheets applications are free, with limited features available without restrictions. If you would like to access all features, consider purchasing the pro version. The pro version may also unlock add-ons that you can opt to avail to further boost your productivity.
Here are some notes to remember:
All purchases are one-time payment only (no subscription required), unless expressly indicated otherwise
All purchases are non-refundable
Purchase transactions are done through the Speedster Solutions store
All product and add-on activation codes/keys are sent to the email address provided by the user. This email address should be a Google email address (Gmail) and must be the one where the application will be installed
Upon successful payment, users shall submit their Order Number and other relevant payment details for verification purposes to outreach@speedstersolutions.com or speedstersolutions@gmail.com
Using multiple accounts
Our application activation codes are assigned to unique Gmail accounts. Our add-on activation codes are assigned to the Gmail account and application the add-on is associated with.
If you pay for a pro version for your account and share the spreadsheet to another user with Editor permission, that user will be able to use all functionalities available to the owner.
Activation codes are non-transferrable to other Google accounts.
Web app
Aside from the Google Sheets interface, our application can also be accessed through a Google web app. The web app allows the user to use the application (or some parts of it) from the browser on their mobile or tablet device.
The web app requires a deployment from the user’s script account. Instructions are available in
the User Guide, but if you would like us to perform this deployment, please reach out to us at outreach@speedstersolutions.com or speedstersolutions@gmail.com.
For optimal experience, we recommend having only one Google account signed in when using our web apps. We also recommend using Google Chrome. Google web apps have had an issue with users being signed in to multiple accounts. If our web app is not working as expected, try signing out of your other Google accounts, or try using an incognito window or a different browser.
